Security followed me in Sephora.  I have a PHD and a six-figure salary and I still got followed. I bought $300 worth of stuff I didn't need just to prove something. To who? I don't even know.

ive put in the times, taken the courses, participated in all their stoopid office events, seminars, and training - and still passed over with someone with half the work experience and education. 

she was coming after me.  I could see in the way she moved her intention was to deal with me

my best friend of umpteen years -white, but best friend - its okay for YOU if you have multiple baby daddys.  Deep down I was mortified.  Worse yet, I knew it was pointless to ask why she felt it would be okay for me - I mean she said what she said, meant it, and it made sense to her.  It was hurtful, and yes.. we are still friends.
